Tom Bain is currently the Director at Deloitte Economic Advisory, a position held since 2024, after serving as an Assistant Director from 2019 to 2024. Previously, Tom contributed to various government entities, including the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and the Department of Energy and Climate Change as a Senior Policy Advisor. Earlier in their career, Tom worked as an Assistant Economist at both the Law Commission of England and Wales and the UK Ministry of Justice. Tom holds a Master’s Degree in Economics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of East Anglia, where they studied from 2004 to 2008.
