With over 18 years of experience, Upen has previously held pivotal roles such as Chief Information Security Officer at DineEquity and Director of IT Security at CKE Restaurants, where they developed innovative risk management strategies. Upen co-founded e-Cop GRC, transforming it into a globally recognized firm in the information security domain. Currently, they serve as the US Advisory Lead Alliance Partner for Google Cloud at Deloitte and hold multiple cybersecurity certifications, including CISSP, CISA, and CRISC. Upen's educational background includes a degree in Business Administration from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
