Adel Melek

Adel Melek has extensive experience in risk management and advisory services within the financial and technology sectors. Between 2007 and 2008, Adel authored a book on the convergence between physical and logical security under ASIS International and ISACA. Serving as President of the Greater Toronto Area Chapter of ISACA from 1996 to 1998, Adel later joined Deloitte Canada in 2015 as the Global Lead Client Services Partner for major clients such as the Royal Bank of Canada and Manulife. Throughout a significant tenure at Deloitte from 1991 to 2011, Adel held various leadership positions, including Global Managing Partner for Risk Advisory, Global Leader for Cyber Security Services, and Global Leader for the Financial Services Industry within Enterprise Risk Services, establishing a reputation as a leading authority in information and technology risk solutions. Adel holds an education background from DePaul University, completing studies from 1989 to 1991.
