Björn Bringmann is the Managing Director and Lead of the AI Institute at Deloitte, a position held since 2021. Prior to this, they served as Director and Head of Data Science at Deloitte from 2011 to 2017. They gained expertise through roles at McKinsey & Company as an Associate Partner and Senior Expert in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence from 2018 to 2021, and completed a Post-Doc at K.U. Leuven from 2009 to 2011. Björn also pursued their PhD studies at the University of Freiburg from 2004 to 2006.
