David Bickle

David Bickle is a Tax Partner at Deloitte Japan, recognized as a leader in the field by the International Tax Review’s World Tax Guide in 2026. With over 25 years of experience in Japan, they assist companies from Europe, the US, and Asia-Pacific in navigating the local market from a tax perspective. David trained as a chartered accountant in London and has also contributed to UK/Japan relations as the president of the British Chamber of Commerce in Japan, while previously playing rugby for the Japan national team. David holds a BSc in Geography from Durham University, an MPhil in Land Economy from the University of Cambridge, and an MIS in International Relations from the University of Birmingham.
