Derek Murphy

Derek Murphy is currently the Managing Director of Financial Advisory and Value Creation Services at Deloitte Ireland, where they focus on delivering sustainable performance improvement for clients. They previously held positions as Associate Director of Corporate Finance and Manager in Transaction Advisory Services at Ernst & Young, overseeing various domestic and international mergers and acquisitions. Derek began their career as an Accountant at Quintas and has an educational background that includes a Bachelor of Commerce from University College Cork and a Diploma in Corporate Insolvency from the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
