Edward Powers

Edward Powers is the Chief Strategy Officer at Deloitte Risk & Financial Advisory, where they lead the Advisory Offerings & Services portfolio, overseeing solutions delivered by nearly 14,000 professionals in the U.S. Previously, they served as the National Managing Partner of Deloitte’s Cyber Risk Services practice from 2013 to 2019, where they propelled the practice to be recognized as a leader in cyber security consulting. With over 25 years of experience, they have collaborated with numerous financial institutions to enhance their security initiatives and have contributed to significant cyber resilience exercises, including co-authoring an after-action report with the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association. Edward has also held faculty positions at USC Marshall School of Business and has actively engaged in the development of public competitions aimed at advancing cyber security. They hold a Master’s degree in History & Classics from UCLA and a Master’s in Information & Operations Management from USC.
