Etsuko Akimoto

Etsuko Akimoto is a seasoned expert in eDiscovery data and process management, with extensive experience in litigation, regulatory, and internal investigations globally. Previously serving as a Court Clerk in the Court of Japan from 1996 to 2006, they later held positions such as Litigation Paralegal at Morrison & Foerster LLP and Senior Vice President at Deloitte from 2019 to 2023. Etsuko currently pursues an LL.M. at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a Bachelor of Laws from The University of Tokyo. Additionally, they have contributed to various roles at Epiq and Catalyst Japan LLC, assisting Japanese and global corporations in navigating their data management efforts. Etsuko was admitted to practice law in New York State in June 2011.
