Henri Venter

Henri Venter is an experienced IFRS Technical Accounting Partner currently serving as the Head of the Netherlands IFRS and Corporate Reporting Centre of Excellence at Deloitte. Focusing on financial instruments, consolidations, lease accounting, and fair value measurements, Henri supports clients by breaking down complex accounting concepts into clear, understandable terms. Prior to this role, Henri was part of the International Accounting Standards Board, contributing to the development of IFRS 9 and IFRS 13. With an academic background that includes a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance with distinction, Henri has held prominent positions in various IFRS Centres of Excellence across Australia and the UK.
