Hermes Spaink

Hermes Spaink is currently an AI and data consultant at Deloitte Netherlands, where they focus on advanced data projects and responsible data analytics. They co-founded Spaink & Van der Weele, a cider company in the Netherlands, aiming to popularize high-quality apple cider. Hermes previously held positions as a junior bioinformatician at BaseClear BV and as a PhD candidate at Leiden University Medical Center, where they researched machine learning models for migraine prediction. They earned their Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Bioinformatics from Universiteit Leiden and Leiden University, respectively, achieving cum laude honors for their Master's.
