Jayson Pooran, FASSA, CERA, is an Associate Director in Deloitte's Actuarial & Insurance Solutions, specializing in life insurance consulting. Since joining Deloitte in 2013, Jayson has built extensive expertise in financial reporting, product pricing, and IFRS 17 implementation, including a notable secondment in Hong Kong. Jayson holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Cape Town and has been recognized as a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa. In 2018, Jayson took a sabbatical for personal reflection and adventure.
