Joel Malissa

Joel Malissa is a seasoned aerospace engineer with extensive experience in aeronautics and mechanical engineering, having worked at prominent organizations including NASA Glenn Research Center, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, NASA Kennedy Space Center, and SpaceX. Joel's roles involved high-fidelity analysis of aircraft designs, vibration testing of space hardware, and development of advanced engineering solutions, including temperature control systems for vacuum chambers and automated cooling processes for cryostats. After valuable internships, including positions at PennFab and NASA Langley Research Center, Joel transitioned to consulting, first at Guidehouse and currently at Deloitte, focusing on developing dashboards and pipelines utilizing Palantir's Foundry applications. Joel holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Physics and Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Pennsylvania.
