Jonathan Howard

Jonathan Howard is a partner in the National Office of Deloitte & Touche LLP, serving as a senior consultation partner of the Financial Instruments Group in Accounting Services. In this role, they lead a team that provides accounting consultation on financial instrument matters, focusing on derivative instruments, hedging activities, and securitizations. Jonathan is active in developing the firm's guidance and is involved with various standard-setting initiatives in the United States, including representing Deloitte on the Financial Accounting Standards Board’s Transition Resource Group for Credit Losses. They received a B.A. in Economics from the University of California at Los Angeles and are a licensed CPA in California and Connecticut. Jonathan began their career at RBB Architects Inc as a Construction Administration Assistant before joining Deloitte in 1992.
