Lay Boon Tan is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in client service, focusing on governance, reporting, sustainability, and operational challenges. Starting their career in Australia, Lay has spent more than a decade in Switzerland and currently serves as the Assurance Leader for Deloitte Switzerland. With a strong background in leading complex audits and a deep expertise in corporate governance and IFRS, they have managed significant acquisitions and disposals valued at over $50 billion and $15 billion, respectively. As the leader of the Chinese Services Group, Lay actively fosters collaborations between Deloitte China and their clients while also enjoying family time exploring the Swiss landscape.
