Mark Hammerschmidt

Mark Hammerschmidt, CPA, currently serves as a Tax Senior at Deloitte, a role they began in 2023 after progressing from Tax Consultant II, where they worked from 2020 to 2023. Mark previously gained valuable experience as a Tax Intern at Miller Financial Services in 2019 and as an Audit Intern at BDO USA, LLP in 2018. They also contributed as a VITA/TCE Volunteer for the Internal Revenue Service in the same year. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Management Information Systems, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and is pursuing a Master's degree in Accounting with a concentration in Taxation from Binghamton University School of Management. Mark is also an IB Diploma recipient from Locust Valley High School.
