Mark Hocker

Mark Hocker, M.Ed., CIPM, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, is a seasoned privacy professional with extensive experience in human resources and risk management. They began their career as an Employment Security Program Representative for the Illinois Department of Employment Security before serving in various roles within the Illinois Army National Guard, including Human Resources Generalist and Operations/Human Resources Manager. Following their military service, Mark worked as a Human Resources Business Partner at Wockhardt USA and held multiple positions at Deloitte, culminating as a Lead Risk Specialist focused on confidentiality and privacy. Mark earned a Bachelor of Science in Politics & Government and Anthropology from Illinois State University, as well as a Master's in Education and a Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Analysis from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Northern Illinois University, respectively.
