Matthew Edwards is the Accounting Advisory Director at Deloitte UK, leading the firm's offerings across the South West and Wales. With over 15 years of experience, they have served a diverse range of businesses, from entrepreneurial startups to global corporations, addressing complex accounting matters, GAAP transitions, and M&A initiatives. Previously holding roles as Senior Manager and Manager at Deloitte, and Audit Senior positions at Abelovich, Polano & Asociados SRL and Smith & Williamson, Matthew has developed a strong expertise in financial assurance, transactional advisory, and regulatory compliance. They are also the current Go to Market lead for the national Accounting Advisory practice, demonstrating a commitment to strategic service delivery. Matthew earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Accounting from the University of Bristol.
