Maureen Simpson

Maureen Simpson is currently a Senior Manager in the Risk and Regulatory Group at Deloitte UK, where they focus on North South Europe (NSE) and UK regulatory issues, audit quality plans, and diversity and inclusion initiatives. They have extensive experience with NSE external inspections and previously served as Principal Auditor at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. Maureen played a pivotal role in developing assurance practices and has contributed significantly to audit quality and risk management across various capacities. They are committed to fostering diversity and inclusion through initiatives such as the Black Action Plan. Maureen is pursuing a BSc in Economics and Accounting from the University of the West Indies and an MSc in International Securities, Investments, and Banking from the University of Reading.
