Mauricio Alejandro Cano

Mauricio Alejandro Cano has extensive experience in academia and the cyber security industry. Beginning as a Teaching Assistant at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Cali, specializing in Object Oriented Programming and Data Structures, Mauricio later held positions as an Invited Research Assistant at École Polytechnique and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Groningen, where involvement included courses in Discrete Mathematics and Automata theory. Notably, Mauricio has transitioned into the cyber security sector, serving as a Junior Manager and a Senior Cyber Security Consultant at Deloitte, focusing on offensive security, cloud security across multiple platforms, and DevSecOps. Recent work includes a postdoctoral research position at the University of Groningen.
