Max Murray

Max Murray is a Senior Partner in the financial services insurance division of Deloitte Australia, currently serving as the Insurance Sector Leader. With over 23 years of global experience across the US, Europe, and Asia, Max has addressed complex regulatory, operational, and financial issues for notable clients in the insurance sector. In past roles, Max developed leading practices in regulatory compliance and conducted significant consulting projects, including risk transformation and regulatory reviews. They hold a Double First Class Honours in Accounting and Business Law from the University of Strathclyde and are a Chartered Accountant and ASIC Registered Company Auditor. Additionally, Max is passionate about mentoring the next generation of insurance professionals and promoting diversity within the industry through their role as Vice President of the FSAA.
