Patrick Start

Patrick Start is the Director of Cyber Incident Response & Wargaming at Deloitte UK, where they support clients in preparing for, responding to, and recovering from cyber events. Previously, they served as an Army Reserve Officer in the British Army from 2009 to 2012. Patrick has held multiple positions at Deloitte UK since 2013, progressing through roles as Consultant, Manager, Senior Consultant, and Senior Manager in Cyber Incident Response. They are CISSP certified and an ISO27001 Lead Implementer & Lead Auditor, with expertise in operational incident management, risk management, and cyber threat analysis. Patrick completed the Oxford Executive Leadership Programme in 2020 and holds a Bachelor's degree in Politics and International Relations from Royal Holloway, University of London.
