Peter Dent

Peter Dent is the President of Deloitte Forensic Inc. and a Partner in Financial Crime at Deloitte LLP, focusing on anti-corruption compliance, foreign corruption investigations, asset tracing, and financial crime management. They served as Past Chair and President of Transparency International - Canada from 2013 to 2022 and worked as a Sr. Forensic Accountant at The World Bank's Department of Institutional Integrity from 2000 to 2004. Peter's previous roles at Deloitte include Partner and National Leader in Forensic services, as well as Director of Operations Financial Advisory for the BC Region. They hold multiple degrees from the University of Alberta, including a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Criminology and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting. Additionally, Peter completed the Directors Education Program at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management in 2016.
