Robert Shields

Robert Shields is the Managing Director at Deloitte, where they have been since 2018. With 25 years of experience in the tax technology industry, Robert previously held roles such as Senior Sales Engineer and Lead Enterprise Software Engineer at Vertex Inc. from 2002 to 2018 and worked as a Data Management Consultant at Tax Technologies, Inc. from 2005 to 2007. They began their career as an Application Architect at Arthur Andersen from 1999 to 2002, contributing to the design of key tax applications. Robert earned a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Florida.
