Sean Murphy

Sean Murphy is a Partner in the Tax division at Deloitte Canada, having joined the firm in 2021. Prior to this role, they spent nearly a decade at Deloitte in various positions, including Senior Manager and Senior Tax Analyst. Sean began their career as a Staff Accountant at Bass & Murphy Chartered Accountants LLP after completing their education at the University of Waterloo, where they earned a Bachelor of Mathematics and a Master of Accounting. They are a Canadian Chartered Accountant (CA) and a U.S. Certified Public Accountant (CPA), specializing in cross-border income tax compliance for Canadian and U.S.-based clients.
