Simon Atherton

Simon Atherton is a seasoned finance professional with a strong background in leadership and advisory roles. Currently serving as a Director at Deloitte UK, Simon oversees controllership functions and leads the EMEA Workiva Alliance. With seven years of senior line finance experience and eleven years dedicated to advising CFOs, Simon has a proven track record of delivering sustainable change across finance functions. Prior roles include managing consultant at RSM Tenon and director at RSM UK. Simon holds degrees in Accountancy and Finance from Manchester University and CIMA from BPP College, along with a Prince2 Practitioner certification.
