Simone La Porta

Simone La Porta is a dedicated member of Deloitte's Data & AI Ethics team in Milan, where they focus on ensuring ethical and secure management of data within artificial intelligence systems. Simone held various teaching roles in mathematics and physics across different educational institutions, including Isola della Conoscenza and I.I.S. “Fermo Corni” in Modena. They earned a Master’s degree in Astrophysics and Cosmology from the University of Bologna, specializing in machine learning algorithms for gravitational lensing analysis. Recently, Simone completed specialized training as a Cybersecurity Specialist at EPICODE to further enhance their expertise in AI governance and compliance. Passionate about sustainability, Simone enjoys outdoor activities that reinforce their commitment to balancing technological progress with environmental responsibility.
