Stephen Nicholas

Stephen Nicholas has extensive experience in financial services and leadership roles. From 1993 to 1997, Stephen served as Financial Controller at Citibank Private Banking. In 2004-2006, Stephen was a Group Accountant at Fairfax Media before becoming Owner and CEO of Openside CA Limited from 2006 to 2011. Stephen's career at Deloitte New Zealand began in January 2011 and includes roles as Partner in both Tax and Private sectors. Additionally, Stephen has been involved with various organizations such as serving as President of Wellington College Rowing Club and holding positions in BlockchainNZ and the Financial Services Special Interest Group. Stephen is a founding member of Technology Valley and has also worked in operations and compliance roles at AXA Funds Management and as Business Services Manager at AMP Financial Services. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accountancy from the University of Canterbury and a Master of Commerce in Finance and Accounting from the University of Auckland.
