Tim Barron is an experienced actuarial consultant with a solid background in the finance and actuarial sectors. Most recently, Tim worked at Deloitte from July 2022 to January 2024, first as an Actuarial Consultant, and previously as a Senior Actuarial Consultant in Sydney. Tim also served as Manager in Technology & Transformation at Deloitte and gained valuable experience as an Actuarial Analyst at Rice Warner and as a Trading Officer at Tabcorp. Tim established a private tutoring business for high school students and currently teaches as a Casual Academic Tutor at UNSW Business School. In addition, Tim works as a professional Beach Lifeguard with Randwick City Council. Tim holds a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Studies and Commerce from UNSW, graduating with Distinction, and also studied Actuarial Science and Mathematics at the University of Copenhagen.
