Herbert Ackermann has led digital innovation at the Department of Veterans Affairs, focusing on streamlining operations and enhancing service delivery through advanced IT initiatives. Previously, Herbert served as a Police Officer III with the City of Gaithersburg and held various analytical roles, including as a Risk Analyst at the VA’s Office of Inspector General and a Management and Program Analyst at the U.S. International Trade Commission. With a Master’s Degree in Acquisition and Contract Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus, Herbert continues to excel as a Cloud Strategy Specialist Leader at Deloitte Digital, driving strategic development and modernization efforts.
