James Byles

James is a partner within the UK consulting practice focused on the retail industry. James leads the private sector team with the Enterprise Technology and Performance practice.

For 20 years James has specialised in designing and delivering transformational change, underpinned by technology, with retailers and has extensive experience working across the UK, Europe and the USA.

James joined Deloitte in 2015 as a non-equity partner, transitioning to equity partner in 2018. Before joining Deloitte James started his career with The Boots Company later moving to Accenture.

James is one of the EMEA Deloitte University deans for CDxEmpower, the cross-consulting milestone program for senior consultants.
