Alex Currie, CPA, is a Senior Manager in Finance Automation and Digital Advisory at Deloitte Canada, bringing over a decade of global experience in Advisory and Audit services. As a leader in the national BlackLine practice, Alex specializes in optimizing financial close processes and enhancing confidence in financial reporting. Previously, Alex worked in Deloitte's Audit practice, managing large-scale finance transformation projects for international clients and gaining expertise in US GAAP, IFRS, and PCAOB audits. Alex holds a Master’s Degree in Professional Accounting from the University of Saskatchewan and a Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurial Studies from the University of Victoria.
