Ashley A. Smith is a Managing Director at Deloitte, specializing in the Risk and Financial Advisory/Forensics practice. With 20 years of expertise in legal operations and data analytics, Ashley has led significant multi-jurisdictional investigations, including notable electronic discovery phases for major FCPA enforcement actions. Ashley focuses on modernizing legal operations through aligning people, processes, and technology, and employs advanced techniques such as machine learning and Technology Assisted Review in projects. Previously, Ashley held leadership positions at Consilio LLC, Control Risks, and Navigant, and has published and spoken extensively on legal operations and eDiscovery. Currently, Ashley is pursuing an Executive MBA and a Master of Studies in Law, both of which complement their extensive experience in the field.
