Barbar Moawad is the Co-Founder of ElectrifiedGrid and works in Integrated Energy Planning Advisory at Deloitte. They are a strategic thinker with a focus on decarbonizing energy systems, leveraging their background in engineering, business, and economics to inform energy transition pathways. Barbar has held various roles at Deloitte, contributing to sustainability and energy transition projects, and previously managed projects at Navius Research, where they advanced low-carbon technologies and policies. They hold a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Windsor and a Master of Engineering in Clean Energy Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
