Brian Brophy

Brian Brophy is a Client Advisor and Partner in Taxation at Deloitte Private, bringing over 30 years of tax experience to the firm. Specializing in corporate and personal taxation for private companies in sectors such as consumer business, manufacturing, and energy, Brian offers clients insightful and transparent guidance. They have held the position of Tax Auditor and Team Leader at Canada Revenue Agency from 1991 to 1998 and have been a partner at Deloitte since 1998. Brian, a former member of Deloitte Canada’s Board of Directors, is recognized for their coaching and mentoring skills, as well as their strategic approach to complex taxation issues. Brian earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland between 1984 and 1990.
