Chris Beattie

Chris Beattie is an Indirect Tax Associate Director at Deloitte, focused on advising financial services businesses on both domestic and cross-border indirect tax issues. With a varied client base that includes retail and investment banks, commodities traders, and insurers, Chris has built a comprehensive career in indirect tax. Prior to this role, Chris worked at BDO UK LLP as an Indirect Tax Assistant Manager and as part of the Indirect Tax knowledge management team. Chris holds a First-Class Honours degree in Chemistry from the University of Oxford, where they also conducted research towards the total synthesis of alkaloid natural products.
