Chris Blackwell

Chris Blackwell is a Senior Manager in State and Local Tax at Deloitte, where they provide a wide range of tax consulting and compliance services. Prior to this, Chris served as a Manager in the same department and as an Assistant General Counsel at the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, representing the agency in administrative proceedings related to disputed tax assessments. Chris has a Juris Doctor degree from The University of Texas School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin's Red McCombs School of Business. They also held various roles at Salans (now Dentons) and co-founded Schulman Blackwell LLP.
