Colin Smart

Colin Smart is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in enterprise architecture and transformation initiatives. Currently serving as a Director and Enterprise Architecture Lead at Deloitte since September 2009, Colin focuses on delivering business outcomes and enterprise recovery. Previous roles include Interim Head of Architecture at Motability Operations during a significant transformation program, and positions at Lloyds Banking Group and HBoS, where Colin played key roles in enterprise architecture and risk analytics within the retail sector. Colin's career began as a Research Fellow at The University of Edinburgh, contributing to various European projects in educational sociology. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Concurrent Systems, an MSc in Computer Systems Engineering, and a BEng (Hons) in Computer Science and Electronics, all obtained from The University of Edinburgh.
