David Bickle

David Bickle is a Tax Partner at Deloitte Japan, recognized as a leader in the International Tax Review’s World Tax Guide (2026). With over 25 years of experience in Japan, David specializes in assisting European, US, and Asia-Pacific groups in navigating the Japanese market from a tax perspective. David began their career at KOBE STEEL LTD and subsequently worked at Andersen before joining Deloitte in 2011. They trained as a chartered accountant in London, holding degrees from Durham University, the University of Cambridge, and the University of Birmingham. Additionally, David has played rugby for the Japan national team and served as the president of the British Chamber of Commerce in Japan.
