David Hill

David Hill serves as Chief Executive Officer of Deloitte Asia Pacific, leading 5,100 partners and about 110,000 professionals across 23 geographies.

Previously, Hill served as Deputy CEO and Chief Operating Officer of Deloitte from 2018 to 2022.

Hill joined Deloitte Australia in March 1995 and held multiple leadership roles, including National Managing Partner, Deloitte Private (2012–2015), Chief Operating Officer of Deloitte Australia, and National Managing Partner of M&A Transaction Services (FY10–FY12).

Hill founded Deloitte’s Corporate Finance practice in South Australia upon returning to Australia from the UK in mid-October 2000.

Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from the University of Adelaide (1992–1994), a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (1996–1997), an MBA from the University of Adelaide (2001–2002), INSEAD Strategy Execution Programme (2012), the Harvard Kennedy School's Global Leadership and Public Policy for the 21st Century Programme (2012), and a Certified Finance & Treasury Professional credential (FTA) (present).
