David Marek possesses extensive experience in economics, having served in notable positions such as Chief Economist and Head of Research at Patria Finance from November 2000 to July 2014, and currently holds the role of Chief Economist and Director at Deloitte Czech Republic since August 2014. Prior to this, David worked as an Analyst at Česká spořitelna and as an Economist at both the Czech National Bank and the Institute of Economics, Czech National Bank. David holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Economics from the Institute of Economics, Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, and also completed studies in Economics at the University of Limerick.
