David McCarthy

David McCarthy is the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Sponsor for Climate & Sustainability at Deloitte Australia, where they currently oversee the Climate & Sustainability team and provide end-to-end climate transformation solutions. With a strong background in advising companies, investors, and governments on transactions and financial restructuring, David previously served as the Managing Partner of Deloitte's Strategy, Risk & Transactions practice, leading a team of 2,300. They also held several key leadership roles, including Asia Pacific Leader for Deloitte Restructuring Services and Managing Partner of Financial Advisory. David earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of Technology Sydney.
