Donna Akerson

Donna Akerson is a retired Managing Director at Deloitte Consulting, where they contributed over 30 years of healthcare expertise beginning in 2009. They led large-scale system implementations and performance transformation projects for various healthcare institutions, gaining a reputation for clinical strategy, patient safety, and change management. Prior to Deloitte, Donna held significant roles including COO for a multi-facility hospital system and CNO at a major NYC hospital. They also served as an adjunct faculty member at New York University and have extensive experience across multiple consulting firms in clinical transformation and operations. Donna earned an MBA and both an MS and BS in Nursing from the University of Maryland and New York University.
