Edward Powers serves as the Chief Strategy Officer at Deloitte Risk & Financial Advisory, leading the Advisory Offerings & Services portfolio while overseeing innovation and solution delivery for nearly 14,000 professionals in the U.S. From 2013 to 2019, they were the National Managing Partner of Deloitte’s Cyber Risk Services practice, recognized as a leader in the field under their leadership. Edward’s extensive career spans over 25 years, during which they have worked closely with major financial institutions to enhance cybersecurity initiatives and manage high-profile cyber incidents. They have also contributed to academic discourse as a former faculty member at USC Marshall School of Business and have collaborated with various organizations to advance cybersecurity practices. Edward holds degrees from UCLA, University of Maryland, and USC Marshall School of Business.
