Gert Vanhees

Gert Vanhees is an Audit and Assurance services Partner at Deloitte, where they lead the EMEA services for the Biotechnology sector. They have contributed to significant audit and consolidation projects involving major clients in life sciences, renewable energy, and technology. Previously, Gert held the position of Senior Manager at Arthur Andersen from 1992 to 2002 and co-founded Leuven Inc. vzw, serving as Director until 2017. They also served as Director at FlandersBio during the same period, showcasing a strong commitment to corporate governance and risk management. Gert earned a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from KU Leuven in 1992.
