Imtyaz Rahim, better known as MT, is a qualified actuary and currently serves as an Actuarial Manager at Deloitte, leading the Actuarial Insurance Solutions team in Cape Town. Previously, they held the position of Senior Actuarial Consultant in the Pricing team at Sanlam from 2020 to 2023, where they also chaired the Committee for Actuarial Support. With a strong interest in data analytics and programming, MT is focused on enhancing their Python skills to optimize operational efficiencies. Additionally, they have a passion for teaching, having served as a head tutor and guest lecturer at the University of Cape Town.
