James Kalec

James Kalec is a Multistate Tax Services Senior Manager at Deloitte, where they have worked since 2022, following a promotion from Manager in 2017. They previously held positions at KPMG, Grant Thornton LLP, and Ryan, specializing in state and local tax. James served as Volunteer Counsel to the Commissioner at the Massachusetts Department of Revenue and has an LL.M. in Taxation from The University of Alabama School of Law, earned with distinction. They also hold a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School and a B.A. in History from Tufts University.
