James Savage has extensive experience in sports management and consulting, including a role as Fixtures and Race Times Executive at the British Horseracing Authority from May 2006 to November 2009, where scheduling for British horseracing was optimized. Prior experience includes an Assistant Consultant position at PwC focused on indirect tax consultancy from August 2003 to May 2006. Currently, James serves as Senior Manager and Head of Sports Advisory in the Deloitte Sports Business Group and previously managed the development of the Competition Schedule for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games from November 2009 to September 2012. Academic credentials include an MA (Hons) in Geography from the University of Oxford and an MSc in Environmental Management from the Centre for Development, Environment and Policy at the School of Oriental and African Studies.
