Joel Beharry

Joel Beharry is an accomplished actuary, data scientist, and innovator with extensive experience in various sectors, including pension plan funding, risk management, and insurance corporate actuarial. They co-founded an early-stage B2B2C insurtech focused on sustainability and currently serve as a Senior Advisor at Deloitte Canada, leading algorithm advisory and innovation projects. Previously, Joel held significant roles at Manulife and Eckler Ltd., where they contributed to embedded value reporting and pension benefit plan design. They earned an Honours Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from the University of Toronto.
