John Okocha is currently serving as a National Medical Director’s Clinical Fellow at the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management (FMLM) and concurrently holds a position as a Clinical Fellow at Deloitte since September 2025. Okocha is a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Leeds for the academic year 2023-2024 and a Future Leaders Programme Fellow at NHS England during the same period. Since August 2021, Okocha has been a GP Registrar and the GP Registrar Lead for the Humber and Ridings Faculty of the Royal College of General Practitioners. Previous experience includes a Junior Clinical Fellow role at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and positions at DHMAL as CME Coordinator, Healthcare Instructor, and Emergency Doctor from 2017 to 2019. Okocha's education includes a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Nigeria, a Master in Public Health from The University of Sheffield, and a PG Cert in Clinical Practice Management and Education from the University of Central Lancashire. Additionally, Okocha has a background in Information Technology with a certification from NIIT Lagos.
