Junko Watanabe

Junko Watanabe is a member of Deloitte's Global Board and serves as the Deputy Chair of Deloitte Asia Pacific, along with chairing the DEI Council. With a career focused on auditing, advisory services, IPOs, and restructuring in the technology, media, and financial sectors, Junko manages a portfolio of around 20 significant global clients. Previously, Junko held various leadership positions within Deloitte, including co-chairing the Global Nomination Committee and contributing to significant governance initiatives. Junko is also dedicated to talent development, serving as Co-Dean of multiple internal programs and actively advocating for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Junko earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Arts in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
